This beautifully designed two-story home features a private hot tub, outdoor dining with a propane grill, a lounge area, and an orchard in the large, secluded backyard. The large living room features lots of space and seating to spread out with friends and family, with beautifully appointed midcentury furnishings and a smart TV. The sunny dining room includes seating for six and is fully stocked with games and barware. In the gorgeous cheerful kitchen you will find all the fixings you need to serve up delicious home-cooked meals--the home has all the cookware and appliances you need, including a coffee maker, food processor, blender, slow cooker, juicer, and an array of spices and cooking essentials. The custom banquette is the perfect place to soak up the morning sun with a cup of coffee or a breakfast burrito from one of the many nearby eateries on Newport Avenue.
Down the hall you'll find the two comfortable bedrooms, a dedicated office/music room, and a spacious full bathroom with built-in bathtub and a walk-in shower. Each of the two upstairs bedrooms features a queen-sized bed with high-quality linens and cozy throws and pillows, and both have spacious closets with built-in drawers and shelving and plenty of room for hanging clothes. The private office can be used for full-time work and includes an ergonomic office chair, two external monitors, a USB-C docking station, and high-speed wifi to keep you productive if you need it. The office also features a cozy armchair, plenty of afternoon sun, and musical instruments.
Downstairs you will find the third bedroom--a serene and sophisticated private suite with an adjoining private bathroom. The suite features a queen-sized bed, seating area with a couch and coffee table, and a sleek walnut cabinet holding a minifridge and situated under a wall of windows. The accordion-style windows slide fully open to invite in the gorgeous backyard, and to provide bar seating in the backyard retreat.
The home is centrally located in a family-friendly neighborhood. There are no parties allowed, and quiet hours between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am are strict. Walkable Newport Avenue boasts dozens of excellent restaurants and bars, where you can find live music, dancing, and games to keep the party going as late as you like without disturbing the peaceful neighborhood. There is a home gym with free weights so you can keep to your routine, or check out some of the excellent yoga, pilates, crossfit, and other workout studios all an easy walk from the house. Take advantage of the washer and dryer in the large laundry room so you can pack light and stay as long as you like! The home also has a dedicated one-car garage so you will never worry about finding parking no matter when you arrive.

great location and had a great time! the only thing i will say is that there was a noticeable smell when we walked in and the studio didn’t have air conditioning. other then that, it was close to a lot of things and we were able to walk to many restaurants.
This great home in Ocean Beach really is quintessential San Diego beach house. 10 min walk straight to the beach. Lots of restaurants, cafes, Target within minutes from home. Charming 1950's style house with mid-century modern decor. It is a breath of fresh air from the white box style houses and hotels you could choose from these days. Our family really enjoyed having the separate downstairs bedroom as it had a couch and bar seating and full bathroom. It gave us all space from each other to relax. the backyard is large and lovely- lots of seating options, hot tub, and plants to feel like it's your "home". Garage access to gym area and washer and dryer were great to have! The upstairs of the home has 2 bedrooms that are comfortable and a home office for those of us that do need to work while traveling. I loved having it. the couch seating in the kitchen nook was so cute. We enjoyed walking to the park and playground 1/2 block away. It was a bit of paradise. loved it.
This was such a cute place! Part of having a nice vacation is having a homey place to stay. This home definitely felt homey. It was a great trip with friends, we were able to relax and enjoy the beach. All the good food spots were within walking distance. The home looks just like the pictures and had all the listed amenities. Wyatt was an amazing host!
Loved this spot. Wyatt was super responsive and helpful and we couldn’t have had a better time for the 4th of July weekend. Highly recommend and would definitely come back here
This place was a truly amazing bungalow by the beach ! The home was so private and clean perfect for our girls trip ! The location was awesome. We walked to the beach, shopping, bars and restaurants. Our host Wyatt was the best ! Definitely coming back again :)
We really enjoyed our stay here, our first full family vacation in 3 years, celebrating our youngest’s daughter’s college graduation. The location is far enough from the bustle of Newport Ave but close enough to be able to quickly walk to a coffee shop, bakery, pub and the beach. So much life and vitality in OB! The house is as pictured; the bottom floor BR/BA are through a separate exterior entrance, not directly accessible from the main areas upstairs. The hot tub worked fine and we enjoyed using it. We watched the Padres get a bottom of the ninth 2-outs HR win and we spent a day at the museums using public transit to get to both. So much fun, thank you Wyatt!

Wyatt was very responsive, accommodating and a great host. While listed as a 3 bed/2 bath, we didn’t realize that it’s actually a 2 bed/1 bath with a studio downstairs that has a separate outside entrance from the backyard. Probably not a huge deal for most, but we have 3 younger kids so it wasn’t ideal. That being said, the beds were comfortable and the location is great. A block off the main drag in OB so it was quiet with easy parking but very walkable.
