A wonderful “home away from home” for our family! The views from this house are spectacular! The backyard is so great for relaxing and watching the water, the beach is close enough to walk to, and the beds were comfy and cozy. We loved our stay at Wyatt’s home. The house was beautiful and accommodated our family of 6 perfectly. There were lots of thoughtful amenities throughout. The pool and outdoor area for us was the most outstanding part, we enjoyed several pool days, and it was very safe for our children with a shallow area and seating all around. We didn’t have a car and it was around 20 minutes walk to the nearest shops but was a very peaceful and quiet neighbourhood. It is well positioned for a day at the beach and around 45 minutes drive from San Diego. We would absolutely recommend this home to anyone!

We stayed in Cardiff for 3 nights, with our large dog - the house and neighborhood were perfect! Close to Cardiff beach, Swami’s, and Moonlight - where we enjoyed evening walks with the dog and saw the most beautiful sunsets. Even though we were close to the highway (so convenient!), the neighborhood was very peaceful and quiet. The house is spacious and clean - plenty of room to relax, cook, and hang out in the backyard by the pool. Wyatt was so quick to reply to any questions I had, and was flexible with our check in time. It was a wonderful place to stay, and we would love to come back again soon!

The place is undoubtedly in great shape and is a part of a seemingly new development. It was very clean. Great natural light and a small back area with a fire pit. No issues with security and felt safe. The place is stocked with beach chairs and towels, making it super easy. The host is very responsive and addressed issues that we had in our week long stay. On the more constructive side, the unit is closer to the freeway then shown in the listing. Road noise is audible throughout the house and in particular, the master. I really wish that would have been called out in the listing. As one reviewer said, you do end up getting used to it but traveling with a young child resulted in lots of wake ups. So would reconsider here if you have an infant. Other than that, you are close to downtown Encinitas with groceries and restaurants 5 mins away. As a last heads up, the place is minimally stocked with the essentials: aluminum foil, condiments, etc. So you’ll need to purchase as well.
